I have been scanning the archives and have not found the acceptable backup
scheme inside wl.
During a contest situation a manual backup is not desirable. Networking a
2nd computer is workable - if one has luxury of
carrying a 2nd computer everywhere.
WINDOWS -- has a back up function that can be set for the wl file and timed
backup. The backup file has a "bfk" extension.
Say every ten minutes and just the wl log file backing up to the tumb drive
?
Anyone tried this and of interest does it Crash if the backup function comes
in while writelog is updating the log file ??
Maybe have writelog save wl file to the tumb drive and windows backup to the
HD ?
Writelog's plus is use of the sound board for CQ's on the SSB contest.
