I know that CW keying seems to be an on going problem for some
particularly with serial /parrallel ports.
I thought I had solved my problem with the microHAM USB interface (YS)
for FT1000D and XP, 256M / 1.4Ghz proc. BUT I still occasionally get
gibberish out of the keyer during a contest - perhaps 5% of the time
calling CQ ... hitting Esc and hitting the F again key solves it.
I have tried everything I can think of - stopping virtually all progs
running in the background .. reducing screen resolution ..Proving it is
NOT RF related (dummy load and no RF !). The only thing that DOES stop
it is using another logging prog - MixW - does NOT cause the problem.
Any ideas ? (I don't want to exclusively run MixW !)
