Chris,

I have experienced the exact same items you have. The radio used
in my configuration is a ICOM 756PROIII.

Powering down the radio did restore the rig control. However,
powering down the radio wipped out the winkey config set by WL.

Fixing that required restarting WL. Big hit to contest performance. :-(.

I'm positive my problem is RF getting into the MHK. I've put ferrite
cores on the USB cable - that helped quite a bit - didn't solve the
problem though.

I'm still trying to find where RF is getting into the equipment.

We experienced a problem at GU8D during the IOTA Contest which caused us to
lose considerable operating time on both our Run and our Mult station. I am
bringing it to the attention of both Groups to highlight a potential bug and
to ask if anyone else has seen the fault.

Several times "Rig Control" was lost and at the same time, if we were using
CW then keying from Winkey would go crazy ie the message would be sent but
everything in dots, no dashes, this was true for both F Key and paddle
messages. Switching off the radio, which also powered Keyer or closing down
and re-opening Router did not correct the fault. The only way to recover was
to close Writelog and re-open it.

I have since checked on my computer at home and have seen the same problem.
I have not experienced this before so wonder if it is specific to Router
v2.14 & WinKey when used with Writelog.

There was some instability on the WL network which we have never experienced
before but we think this is a separate problem possibly connected with RFI.
The Router problems is definitely not RFI as it happens when no signal is
being transmitted.

Run station was FT1000MP, Mult was FT1k MK5. Each with its own mH Keyer.
Five laptops networked via WiFi.
