Hello,
after reading this message I tried to build a small Tool that interacts with
WL and shows the name to a particular callsign.
Details and a download link can be found at the Software chapter of our

So far we tested it with 2 different Writelog versions - if you have any
problems running it, feel free to contact me.
By the way - if you ever worked and recorded either OE8YDQ or OE8CIQ we
would be very happy to get a soundfile from the other side.

Tnx for bring this up again...I suggested this some months ago. Real easy
to pre-record all the typical names in domestic contests as .wav files, and
have 'em play.
Hopefully, this has progressed from a "Wish List" item to being on the WL
Development "To-Do" list :-)
