After a hard disk disaster, I have had to reload from scratch. Having done
so, I am plagued by a CW speed problem.
I am currently using 10.54 and a W5XD Multikeyer. My problem is that for no
apparent reason, Writelog will suddenly up CW sending speed to around 46
wpm. I then have to adjust it back to where it was previously set. The
problem is not caused by RF as it happens when I am not transmitting. To
try to defeat this, I limited speed in the CW speed table to 34 wpm but
guess what, it still suddenly ups CW speed to around 46wpm, though now when
it does so it reports speed as 28 wpm.
Has anyone seen this before? What do I do to fix it? It's driving me nuts.
