[WriteLog] Telnet problem pse help

Hi, I have just purchased a new computer using Windows XP. Installed WL with 
now real problems. Everything works now except Telnet, I get Conection Failed. 
I have lifted the XP Firewall also the Avast one but still no good. It worked 
ok on my old computer running Win98. Tried other Telnet sites with port 23. Can 
anyone help please.
