Steve - if you think that you accidentally "mapped" the W to perform like Alt-W
or %W,
go to Tools | Keyboard Shortcuts and bring up the dialog box.
On the left, you should see all the keystrokes and keys that you are using as
shortcuts.
Scroll down to the bottom and see if you find an entry for "W" - if so, delete
it.
If you cannot find that, then maybe you could try clicking on "Set to Default"
over
on the right, which would return things to their original settings....and maybe
restore your W.
