Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions.
I guess I am both stupid and lazy as the solution was offered early on
and I never got around to making the hookup from the interface to the
new computer sound ports. After a few people suggested this as the
issue I had to do something about it.
The new computer was on the opposite side of the room and I didn't want
to move to it over the operating position. I initially thought the
speakers would be sufficient for the sound card to be detected but not
so. Apparently Vista will not recognize the sound card for Digital apps
unless an interface is connected.
I finally found some cables that would reach and made the hookup. Voila!
Sound Card Detected.
Switched out computers this weekend and the things I need to work are
working. Still have some minor issues but I can get on the air with
Digital again.
Woo! Woo!

Walt
