We had the same thing happen but with a different K5D... call. In checking
Writelog it looks like any call beginning with K5D is interpreted as
Desecheo Is.

Again, I have to say how well writelog worked for me in the wpx event over
the weekend. It never blinked and is a joy to operate with. Even though I
use only a small part of what it can do, it does it perfectly.
I had an interesting log occurance though--caught it later on.
Worked K5DU. The bearing indicator indicated correctly that it was a US
W5 prefix. And the but the prefix indicator shoed KP5 and the country was
logged as Desecheo Is.
Anyone else see this happen?
