I did the same thing and should have known better. I just now downloaded
Jim's file and updated manually. The K5D prefix is now working correctly.

Jim,
You are likely correct about the "correct version" but I did an update the
immediately before the contest, using the built-in Writelog update
procedure.
I assume that the version the auto-update function downloaded was not your
latest version, but others who did the same update I did, might not
understand the difference.
