I suspect the efficacy of Gary's solution depends upon the mouse, and
perhaps the radio and/or radio settings.

My mouse is a Logitech V220 wireless unit and my radio is an MP. I have
the MP dial rate set to 600 Hz/revolution--a slow rate. From within
Writelog, but without changing writelog.ini, the scroll wheel changes
frequency--but slowly, i.e. 10 clicks move the VFO about 65 Hz. The
mouse software (Setpoint) does not appear to have a rate control for the
scroll wheel on this particular model. This may be useful for
fine-tuning a signal--or not.

Adding MOUSE_WHEEL_HZ to writelog.ini screws this up. The scroll changes
the frequency--but as more a single sweep, which continues long past
cessation of the scroll wheel movement--not useful. I removed the
command. There may be a workaround, but I have no time to explore it at
the moment.
