Hi Don,
Two suggestions for the Keymen's Club of Japan contest.
1. Try the Japan International DX Contest (outside JA) module. The fields
in the Entry window are CALL, RST and PR. However, this module will need a
slight modification to work in the Keymen's contest. The PR field is for
numeric entry only as this module expects a number definition of the
Prefecture. Contest/Show Multipliers... shows the Prefectures by band
numbered from 1 - 50. The work around would be to go to Contest/Exchange
Format Setup.. When it asks if you want to initialize all fields click on
No. In the Edit QSO Exchange Fields window click on the PR field and clear
the check mark on "Number. Field is numeric", then click on Save. This will
allow you to enter the 2 position alpha exchange for the Prefectures. The
multiplier module will no longer work correctly since it expects a number so
you will not see an accurate score or display of Prefectures worked on each
band. Also the module wants your exchange parameter defined as a CQ zone
rather than NA for your continent. This module has a Cabrillo output, but
I'm not sure if the data would be correct after modifying the PR exchange
field from numeric to alpha. You could also export the log in DIFF format
as described below.
2. Create your own contest log format. Load the "General DXCC tracking log
keeper" module and then change the layout to suit this contest. After
loading the module go to Contest/Exchange Format Setup... and answer Yes to
initialize all fields. When the Edit QSO Exchange Fields window opens there
will only be one field - CALL. Then add the other fields you need in the
order you want them to appear in the Entry window. That would be RST and
PR. See the WL help manual if you need assistance on which boxes should be
checked for these fields. The Prompt box must be checked for the field to
display in the Entry window. I would also add a couple of other fields for
the log that would not need to be displayed in the Entry window - SNT a
numeric field for your sent RST and CT a two position alpha field for your
continent. The CT field will not be auto filled in the log for you during
the contest, but can be filled in post contest. There will be no Cabrillo
output from this log, but you can export the log contents by using
File/Export/DIFF spreadsheet format... Once you've exported the log in DIFF
format you can load it into Excel and then save it as an Excel file. Now
you add your NA in the CT field for all the entries.
For both methods you could also do a File/Export/ADIF file... and then try
using one of the ADIF to Cabrillo converters available on the web.
Hope this helps. Good luck.

Gary AL9A
