Hi all,

This problem has been reported since 2000 by several WLog users with
differnts radios.

Just make a search on the reflector with words " cw gibberish" for example.

This problem comes when using "Pc Generate" CW in config ports.

I had also this problem with serial ports, USB ports and LPT port. To fix
the problem , I am using a K1EL Winkeyer2 USB.

But I don't agree at all with Gary about that is Windows problem for only
the simple reason that this problem doesn't exist with other

logging softwares installed in the same computer and the same operating
system which is Win XP Pro SP3. My everyday logging

program is Logger32 , works great with a simple Transistor or Optoisolator
interface.

Personnaly I spent a lot of time experementing , monitoring the com ports,
using only writelog (no others programs running like anti viruses, packet
cluster and so on without any success. " .

Look at this 2002 post link:

I want to add also that it is NOT an RFI problem, because you can have the
gcw garbage just sending your macros without

transmitting, (VOX OFF).

So I agree with Gary suggestion to use a Winkeyer stuff.
