Sort of correct.

I would contact the support person Sholto K7TMG for Moutain West Radio and see if this new splitter might work. Haven't tried it myself as my Rigblaster Advantage is up on my remote. I also have lots of com ports and plenty of Max232 chips so never tested it with my FT-1000D when I had it hooked up here. Does FSK and CW just fine tho.

I do know that this change has fixed HRD problems.

Rigblaster Advantage has a *single* serial port. That port can
be used for rig control (TxD/RxD), PTT (RTS) and CW (DTR) or it
can be used for RTTY (FSK=DTR, PTT=RTS) *but not both*.

If you are going to use RigBlaster Advantage for rig control and
RTTY, you must use AFSK (audio) for RTTY transmit.

I would very much like to hear from someone using writelog with a Rigblaster advantage for both RTTY and rig control.

I am having a hard time with port settings and would like to get some pointers from someone using this setup.
