[WriteLog] Web update not working?

I recently upgraded...long overdue... and and now notice the web update
feature to update data files.  When I perform the update on my XP machine I
highlight all files and Writelog successfully downloads and restarts.
After a restart, however,  I notice no files have really updated in the
program directory nor are any of the files to be found when doing a full
search.

What could I be missing?
