Hi WL List Members,
I've been going batty in trying to make WL (v10.78) work with my Rigblaster Pro
on SSB. At one time, it worked. However, a lot of time has passed and I have
added a WinKeyer USB to get rid of the corrupted Morse problem w/ WinXP. On CW,
it now works fine but on fone, not so good.
The Rigblaster box has a "Process" toggle switch that passes computer audio to
the rig only when it's in the "Process" position but does not pass microphone
audio to the rig in that position. And, when the switch is in the "Process"
position, it does NOT pass microphone audio to the rig. Microphone audio is
passed to the rig only when the switch is not in the "Process" position. PTT
works but, the only time the Rigblaster "PTT" LED comes ON is when connecting
to the PC when the PC sees it. I spoke with West Mountain Radio support. We
believe there's a problem with communication between WL and the Rigblaster box,
possibly a configuration issue in WL.
The Rigblaster wants to be COM6, and the WinKeyer wants COM7. I've edited
CommSlot1 and CommSlot2 in the [PORTS] area of WRITELOG.INI to have those
values. Is there something more I need to do or change? I'm not trying to do
anything more... no rig or rotator control, etc.
