Ed,
I just tried both web updates and they seemed to work fine. It's not
completely automatic. There's a couple of pop-ups that ask if you want to
proceed .. including one from Windoze .. and another asking if you really
want to apply the update (and why would I not?) There are a few such
hurdles. The updates need to be saved before you quit WL to be effective.
Ctrl-S or click the little floppy disk icon.

I know I must be doing something wrong, but can't figure out what! When I
click on the web update files tab (for both country and data file updates)
the updates show up in the box. When I click the install updates tab, the
response is "cannot unzip file" and the process is cancelled. I must be
missing something......
