I have an FT-726R. Every time I turn it on now it goes back to the default
settings and does not hold any of the memory programming. I figure there
must be an internal battery that needs to be replaced, but upon removing
the top and bottom case, I can not easily find a battery to replace. Does
anyone have any idea what might be the cause of this, and if it is a
battery, where is the battery physically located in the unit. It was
easier to ask than to tear into it searching for it. Of course I just
moved and have no idea where my service manual is. Thanks for any help.
