After I got my cable hooked up and checked with a couple of known good =
programs (F6DEX's excellent Soft990 and PDA's LOGIC), I modified my =
program to work with the MP. =20

Most of the changes were minor but the frequency report is a very =
different format. I had trouble interpreting the manual (the example is =
either wrong or I don't understand it) but finally got it working. The =
frequency in Hz divided by .625 is returned in a 4 byte structure. You =
just have to arrange the bytes right and multiply by .625 (or .000625 to =
get the answer in kHz).

The info to set the filters is also not working according to the book. =
It looks like the 9 they say to use to enable the 2nd if 6k filter =
should be a 4. I also can't get any response using the 3rd if codes =
(80-84) they say to use. Any help on this?

73, Ed
