I can appreciate you frustration with poor customer skills.  I've been on both
ends of the game and know what's going on.  Complaining here will do you
no good in getting it solved.  If you want to get some REAL action, write a
letter
to the company owner (not manager or boss) detailing the situation.  Suggest
that you include a comment about telling ten other hams about the bad
experience.  Do this via snail-mail, do not call or e-mail or face-to-face.
On the flip side:
Do the same letter rewarding a good experience. Here, if it's a local store
pay a personal visit.  You will gain a friend for life.
