I agree with Jim's summation of the differences but would add one warning.

I learned in a conversation with the Gigabit.COM folks that the reason their
price on the non-FIELD was so much cheaper than some stores is because they
do not include the power supply.  Others include the companion item and
raise the price several hundred dollars.

I am awaiting a Field version from Gigabit, they were backordered about two
weeks.
