REPLY:
Yes, over processing and compressing and all that stuff can make a
signal sound awful, but that does not necessarily mean splatter over
to adjacent channels. It is possible to have a terrible signal but all
contained within a normal bandwidth.
Adjacent channel splatter is what I was talking about.
