Hi Jerome,
Originally that amplifier was built by a company in Scarborough, Ontario,
called "VIEWSTAR". When they went outta business, Fred Hammond picked-up the
product line---and when that arrangement came to an end, Barker & Williamson
started manufacturing & marketing the line under their name...
In the early 80's---when it was still VIEWSTAR---I had occasion to examine one
of the amps "...up close & personal" at a Hamfest. I must say, I was impressed
with the construction and with the quality of the parts, both. I don't know
what such a unit might be worth to-day, but they sure were/are impressive,
IMHO...
