One annoying problem is N3FJP software cannot use the same RS-232 port for
rig control and sending CW which N1MM accomplishes well. This requires
either a second interface or a WinKeyer both of which are unnecessary with
other programs. I choose N1MM for contesting and DXLab Suite for daily
logging for this reason. I have read their "manuals" and followed their
instructions to make them work.
Scott is a great guy who serves the Amateur Radio community well. The N1MM
Team is amazing as is Dave in supporting DXLab Suite!
As always, with great power and versatility comes added complexity. In
contesting loggers, the numbers show N1MM is the most popular.
IMHO, doing anything 30 minutes prior to a contest other than stocking up
with drinks means you're not really focused on the contest.
