NO! That is NOT what is being proposed. Rather, it is to allow the use of more than one call at the same QTH with the same rig.

No, that is NOT what is being proposed.

And please, let's not start with EMCOMM.  This is an ARRL
pipe dream to give the League relevancy in a world where ARRL is becoming
increasingly irrelevant.
For high population density areas, maybe, but NOT in low population areas where many other hams live. Like in the Santa Cruz mountains of NorCal, where I and my neighbors have no cell service at home, AT&T wants to discontinue landlines, and we have earthquakes, wild fires that destroy hundreds of homes, and storms that take power down for 4-5 days.
