Ed,

Please tell where they sell for $200.00. For that I might buy one for
myself, just to have the ability to locate a problem with high credibility.
I am looking at the power line noise problem long-term so this would be sort
of an investment. Even if we can eliminate a few of the sources soon, I'm
sure there will be others continuing to come up from time to time and
unfortunately, burial of lines is not going to happen any time soon. I
searched the Web and found a vendor for one brand of ultrasonic arc locator
(the kind with a clear plastic dish and pistol grip handle that the pros
use) and it cost over $6,000!!

I just bought one for $200.00. :-) K2QAI is out right now checking it out.
Unfortunately, all our local power lines are wet, so we may not have any
noise right now.
