Yes, indeed. In addition to Dale's comments, I would reinforce the fact
that a very high percentage of RF noise appears as a common mode signal
on interconnecting cables, and that the addition of a good common mode
choke that is resonant near the frequency(ies) of interest is always a
good first step.
