I have one in my shop/garage. It makes it tolerable to work out there
this time of year. OTOH it's in the window, not inside the shop.
Largest window unit I could find. Runs on 220.
I use one of the hangar heaters (30' long tube heater) for cold weather.
I don't know what my next step is to do in a situation like this since I
have not been involved with RFI issues with an "irate" neighbor. I could go
to the ARRL and ask for assistance but this might take "eons".
I understand they are pretty responsive.
