The ARRL tells me that they have been talking to the company, so at least they
are on the radar. It may be the founders(?) of the firm are just oblivious to
such things are rules and allocations.

It could be worked out such that the company designs to avoid 144-148.

What is needed are specific interference cases to report. There may be so few
of these systems in the field that no cases exist, yet. I fear 2m has become
so lightly used that few operators would notice this company boiling the frog.

They probably won't be the last to usurp our VHF allocations.

On "About" page for goTenna is meaningless, mumbo-jumbo, organic marketing
chatter:
================
goTenna creates distributed comm-un-i-ca-tion networks that increase scale,
resiliency, and access.

Communications is the keystone of all fundamental facilities and systems,
but today's infrastructure must evolve in order to meet 21st century needs.
At goTenna, we are working on advancing universal access to connectivity by
decentralizing it.

goTenna builds next-generation wireless architectures to power bottom-up
communications networks that get stronger as they grow. We focus on
low-power, low-cost, modular mobile ad-hoc networking protocols and devices
that are easy-to-use and developer-friendly. Our parallel networks are
designed to both enable completely off-grid communication and augment
traditional systems by extending the practical edge of connectivity.

Below that are names/pictures of the twenty-something founders.

TUNABLE

Operate on any frequencies in the 142-175 MHz (VHF) & 445-480 MHz (UHF)
ranges.

this is on the website: https://www.gotenna.com/pages/gotenna-pro-technology

This is mesh networking technology that appears to be useable (ANY
FREQUENCY) on 2 meters, though as far as I can tell not Part 97.

Not only does this seem a potential interferer to repeaters but also a
serious potential issue to those working VHF contests.

Maybe I missed something on their webpage.
