I don’t have the PN handy but if you need it let me know. "

Yes Please send me the best part numbers. for this.

"A better idea would be to fix the RF getting into the keyboard in the first place.  That's not normal. What kind of antenna are you using?  Does this happen on only some bands?  At any power level."

This may be all for naught anyway. I use elevated Verticals. Full sized 1/4 wave ones. And barefoot TS-430S would lock the keyboard up often on all bands. The antennas are pretty far away, like on 40 meters it's probably 50 yards from the shack here.

BUT I may have fixed it by accident. I have been in the process or bringing an old dead SB-220 back to life, and have put it inplace this morning, so cabling has changed greatly in the shack. And the problem may be gone now by just changing out all the cables? Because where on 40 I could never run more than say 50 watts and not worry about the board going away.  I just tested it at full barefoot power, and no issues, so went g for the gold with the amp, and still no issues,,,, Interesting!

"What is the manufacture and model of the keyboard?  My IBM keyboard finally bit the dust and I am in the market for a back light keyboard.  Would like to know what to avoid. "

It is a DELL Desktop, and the keyboard is also an Illuminated one. A Logisys One.  Cant seem to find a model number anywhere for it tho.  The one I have here right now is,,,

https://www.amazon.com/Logisys-Corp-Character-Illuminated-Keboard/dp/B00BIFW8FG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1520107356&sr=8-1&keywords=logisys+kb208bk

But I am also looking for a new one, this one is like 10 years old. and the lettering on the keys are wearing off.

I found a neat page that talks about the top ones.

I will never go back to a non glowing keyboard!  It's awesome in the shack at night. the only lights are the radio dial lights, the monitor and the keyboard.

Field Day it is awesome, you can have only the same amount of lights, so bugs don't become an issue. They do not seem to like monitor lights and I use the red during field day. awesome!!!

Joe, I have a wireless keyboard and had RFI to it. I put AL foil across the bottom and it took care of it! In the past when I had USB cable I put beads on both ends of the cable and rolled up any excess and slapped a bead on."

The foil just on the bottom but not attached to anything?

Thanks Everyone!
