A 'strike per half cycle' of a sinusoid is a pretty good indicator 
of an arc. Not only is that common sense, it falls in line with the
physics of a breakdown in air (an arc).

I've repeatedly said to look at the RF spectrum and waterfall.

Note that Mike Martin, a pro at this, said that it's not impulse noise.
