A new noise just appeared from next door neighbor's brand new swimming
pool pump about 100 ft. from my tower. It's designed to run from dawn
to dusk, 24/7. RFI appears only on 12, 10 and 6m. Most likely it's
also on lower frequencies outside the HF bands. The noise is a broad
hump about 25 KHz wide and drifts downward all day long. Made by Jandy
Co. No doubt it's a DC motor with a crummy Chinese switching power
supply. Installer said he will contact the Jandy people for advice. Has
anyone had to deal with this? Jim W6YA
