Gary, NA6O, is a great engineer, and has done extensive work on this. I
would heed his advice. I will add this: beg, borrow, or steal a battery
operated radio that can tune to the frequencies where you want to
operate and listen as you move it around the wiring for those lights.
What you hear there you will likely hear in your radio.
There are other alternatives. My shack is lit by LED strips from the
vendor below, running off the 12VDC system that powers radio
accessories. That system float-charges a 12V SLA battery.

The same vendor also sells inline switches. Do NOT use his power
supplies. Instead, use a linear 12V supply, either a vintage wall wart
or one you buy from an industrial electronic vendor.
The lighting I need for radio operation in my shack draws about 1.5A at
12V. It's a lot less than I would want for a workshop, but just fine to
do radio. To get brighter, all you need is more fixtures and a larger
12VDC supply.
