Rumor going around saying CW is coming back to the Navy. Reason being during
time of distress.
Think about it, a ship under water, flooded compartments. How would you
communicate escape routes SSB or RTTY?
The big bomb blast comes all communications down or destroyed, all you have is
a generator and an AM FM radio how do you communicate, SSB or RTTY? You build
a spark gap.
Now that all there are is radios with SSB, RTTY and Digi. No one will know CW
or have a purpose to learn it.
