Folks,
The Group buy of Steve Hunt's Corsair II Logic Board is NOT going well.
Many people indicated they wanted one but have failed to pay the $17 for the
bare board. To me, $17 is really cheap insurance to keep the Corsair II
going. If your Display Logic Board goes out, your Corsair is not going to
be worth much. TenTec cannot repair them. I have seen many ads were the
owner has a Corsair II but with the display not working. They are usually
selling them for parts. Steve Hunt took the time to help all of us by
designing a replacement board. I think everyone who owns a Corsair II needs
to purchase his board. Here the deal. If I don't get the money for 10
more boards by early next week, I will be refunding all the money collected
so far and those of you who have Corsair II's will be on your own.
