[TenTec] Omni 6 Plus intermittent no TX or RX on 10 meters

Radio Gurus,  
My Omni 6 Plus has an intermittant no RX/TX problem on ten meters only. The 
 freq display reads correctly and the ALC led comes on as it should when I 
key  the rig. 
I spoke with Paul at Ten Tec. He thinks it's almost certainly a problem on  
the oscillator/LO mixer board. (I.e a Lock Pulse problem)
I thought I'd run it by you guys before I rip into it.
