This reminds me of a funny event last December. I had been chasing
1A0KM for
several days when he showed up on 1845.0 SSB with a truly 59 signal. I
worked him
and Francesco (IK0FVC operator) asked me to take a list for him. Not wanting to
do that, I said "Francesco, you are very strong, but please QSX up so your
frequency
is not covered up with QRM from people calling". Francesco said, "Can you
pick a
good frequency for me?" Without hesitating, I said, "Sure, 1860 should be
very clear
for you in Europe!" He proceeded to work dozens of stations contest style
and I don't
think it bothered anyone including WA0RCR who was probably watching his
meters dancing
and his tubes glowing!
