As for Tyler's comment, I have to wonder if his coils were fried by RF
from another transmitter--as in a multitransmitter contest
situation--while his MP was in receive mode. I saw no limiting
protection on the schematic and installing such protection is probably a
good idea if the rig is to be operated in that kind of environment.
