Long term direction finding studies at MF have found excellent correlation
of received bearing versus Great Circle bearing on paths including high
latitude trans-Atlantic paths. Did you mean to refer to specific unusual
situations?

Also medium frequency skewed propagation paths are the norm rather then the
exception, especially
past approximately 3100 miles.
