Bob,

I am using a 60 ft toploaded vertical with two elevated radials. In the past
two seasons I have worked a 100+ DXCC using this antenna. Here are the
details of the antenna;

The antenna is supported by the 18 meter Spiderbeam glass fibre pole,
www.spiderbeam.com. I am using a 1.5 mm electrical wire as the antenna
element. As the top of the pole is very thin and won't support a hat, a
three spoke hat of 15 meter 1 mm cu wires is attached at 15 meters height. I
am using two tuned elevated radials about 1-3 above ground, both radials are
bent 90 degrees south about 15 meters from the antenna base, this is done
because of restricted space. The antenna is fed using an un-un transforming
the around 17 ohm impedance to around 50, http://www.k0bg.com/unun.html. A
common mode choke made of RG-213 wound around a piece of plastic pipe is
placed at the feed point.

On the RX side I am using a FO0AAA loop and a 20ft coax loop. I am usually
able to work anything I hear using full legal power, sometimes NA stations
with very good RX antennas hear me better than I hear them, so at this point
I'm looking into improving my RX antennas.
