This isn't as far fetched as it seems. Folks on 30m, which is only 50kHz
wide , manage to rub along quite nicely:
Maybe something like this could serve as a model for top band.
 Of course, 30m is a non-contest band. Once a contest is under way on
top band, the swords and daggers are unsheathed and all bets are off.
