For me,
I don't personally care at all. I often
win CT or division as high scoring in most
anything I enter but I'll never be in the
top dog category. This change might impact
some very dedicated contesters who earn
that top dog rating but probably not and
it won't bother me a bit either way, I
only compete against myself.
If someone has invested that much $ and
thought into their stations and the
equipment on it to become a contest
station, they should have the better
likelihood to win than me with my wire
antennas strung up in trees. If they use
remotes, it's just part of the real
expense and attempt at win, place or show.
Honestly, with that investment in maximum
results, don't you think superstations and
those that invest wisely to win should
grab the top rings if they put in the
effort?
