MSG and Insect Stings

I am told that meat tenderizer also works wonders on fire ant
and scorpion bites. They also apparently have large protein molecules
in the venom.

Not too likely to find those critters up on the tower, but here in 
Texas one can sometimes find them on the way TO the tower!
