When running the amplifier I would cause a halogen light that was
plugged into a wall socket in the other room to light everytime I sent
cw or modulated. I put it on an adjacent plug (different circuit) and it
stopped. Bought a 6 outlet strip surge suppressor put it back on the
original outlet & hasn't done it since. Good luck.
