Yes, I would drill out the holes in the plate for the Polyphasers. I have
that same setup and mounted the plate in a basement casement window after
removing a pane of glass. That also serves as my common point ground. I
would seriously suggest that you use expanding insulating foam on the
outside to prevent condensation on the inside of the plate.
