Another technique for single-handed section installing:  Once the new 
section is lifted to a few inches above where it should be to start 
telescoping downward, while on the tower, well belted on, and carefully, 
loosen the gin pole clamp slightly (where the gin pole itself goes 
through the clamp, not where the clamp hooks onto tower leg) so that the 
pole will slip, slowly, with resistance, downward.  This way you can 
lower the section while maintaining control.  Lower it a few inches, work 
the legs onto the tower, lower a couple inches more, continue, etc.  With 
gloves on, etc., you can keep a hand gripped onto the gin pole to keep it 
from getting away from you, in addition to the resistance you've left in 
the clamp.  With Rohn 25/45 sections I find this is not too much weight 
to control.
