Steve, You can take a rotor plate and drill it for the thrust bearing,
mount it the top of the pointy top section where you would usually mount
the rotor. You then can mount another rotor plate at the top of the next
section down and use a 20 foot mast. Makes it so you can R and R the
rotor, as long as you don't have one of the big ones. Also had a flat top
section on another tower and I fabricated a bracket to hold the mast
right above the rotor so I could R and R the rotor on that one also. Hope
this helps someone out on my favorite reflector.
