Well, this one is going to be with us for awhile. I think we'd all be
interested in a detailed
description of the "antenna range" setup:

1.Preliminary steps to determine a base reference for 0 db

2. Height of the dipole and reference antenna

3. Step attenuation device used.

4. Equipment used to measure the gain.

And yes, I have a Pro 67 ( I think, whatever that thing is with 2 active
elements on 40 ) laying
in the back ready for reassembly. For what it's worth, it can hold it's
own with the big boys
on 40, does OK on 20 and 10, but I have serious doubts I can be heard
outside my back yard
on 15. WARC bands do OK.

And I never give away aluminum!
