Hello Bruce,
ZM1A is a short term contest call issued to ZL3CW Jackie Calvo
(ex F2CW). In New Zealand a 2x1 call can be issued for a single
contest and then has to be surrendered.
He has a 2 element shorty-forty made in Europe (may be similar
to American models?). The antenna is installed at the QTH
Mark ZL1BMW, on elevated ground to the south of Auckland City.
