Without the right kind of help you can get the job done safer and
quicker with the crane. However get a copy of the contract BEFORE you
sign anything. Most crane charges start when they leave the yard and
when they return. Tou pay on a 8 hour day with any time over that at
... you guessed it time and a-half. Also check out their "you are
responsible if clause ...". Check with several crane companies and see
what the smallest crane and manpower for your job. A 65 ton crane with
swing attachment will probably do the job. I had my work completed with
with a
65 ton crane and we were working at 170'.

For a more indepth look in to what can happen and some of the hidden
cost look at my home page under the amateur radio section and my tower
work. I know the expense is greater but the safety aspect and time
saved is well worth the expense.

Good luck ... let me know if I can answer any questions!!!
